Thank you for your interest in SportsDisplays! We know you have questions about trusting your prized jersey to this company in the desert (Tucson!). Here we'll attempt to answer all of the most commonly asked questions, but feel free to call us (520-477-1091) or email us (sales@sportsdisplays.com) with your own questions!
Why should I trust my jersey to a company across the state (or country)?
SportsDisplays has been in business for over 20 years and has a perfect record! We are not in the business of selling framed jerseys, only framing jerseys for our loyal customers. Take a look at our testimonials on the website and unsolicited customer feedback on our Facebook and Twitter pages. This is real customer feedback!
What is the process for having my jersey framed?
You will place your order on the website for either the Classic Framing or Executive Framing. Simply choose the framing style and complete the order process. Once you place the order, we will immediately send you a confirmation email (check your spam folder if you don't get it right away!) with instructions on where to send your jersey. Be sure to send a copy of your confirmation email so we know it's your jersey!! Once we receive the jersey we'll send you an email to let you know we received the jersey. When the jersey is ready to be shipped, we'll send you an email with the FedEx tracking number!
How do you recommend we pack the jersey to ship? What carrier is recommended?
We recommend packing the jersey in a box, rather than an envelope or soft padding, just to further protect the jersey and pictures. We do NOT recommend including peanuts as a packing material since it creates a mess on our end when we unpack ;-). In fact we may need to institute a fine!
As far as shipping carrier, we receive packages every day from USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc. so choose your favorite carrier, they are all great!
How long will it take to get my jersey framed? Or asked another way, what's your turnaround time?
Typically it takes about 2-3 weeks to frame the jersey once it's received. The shipping from Tucson takes about 2-5 days, depending on what part of the country you live in.
How do I know whether to order the Custom Classic Jersey Framing or Classic Framing?
SportsDisplays offers a variety of layouts with the Classic Framing and Executive Framing. However, you may come across a framed jersey that was done differently and you'd like us to match the layout. Or perhaps you have souvenirs from an event that you want to make sure are included in the framing, but they don't fit one of the existing layouts. The "Custom Classic Jersey Framing" allows us to create custom layouts to satisfy our customers and are quoted simply based on the design work needed to create the new layout. When placing your order for the Custom Classic Jersey Framing, you'll have the opportunity to explain what you're looking for in the text box.
Do you have a recommendation on where to get pictures to frame with my jersey?
We wrote a blog about this to help you purchase pictures or download them yourself!
If my jersey has embroidery sewn on the bottom, can that be displayed?
Yes, we will frame the jersey vertically to display the embroidery. Often that means the jersey cannot be framed with 8x10s because they'll cover part of the embroidery. We will always do our best to include the pictures.
Do you iron or press the jerseys?
No, we do not iron the jerseys because we do not want to alter your jersey in any way. With our method of framing, we insert a piece of the matting inside of the jersey and pull it taut to remove most wrinkles (creases may be another story!).
Do you only frame College or Processional jerseys?
We frame all jerseys! We frame jerseys from Professional and College sports, and we also frame jerseys from High School and Youth sports! Any jersey/shirt you have, we will get it framed!
Do you only frame jerseys of the "Big Four" sports?
The most popular framed jerseys are Football, Baseball, Basketball and Hockey. However, we frame for all sports - Lacrosse, Gymnastics, Field Hockey, Racing, Cycling, and many more! We can also frame T-Shirts, Police Uniforms, Letterjackets, nearly anything you can imagine!
